Product Packaging Designing - POPDROP
A unique brand name and vibrant logo are an
integral part of communication as a differentiator, due to the over exposure of
similar choices and very little time to make a decision. A strategic brand name
and logo helps to create a brand and product identity. After days of research,
product segmentation, target market and days of ideation, Design Dimensions created a brand name as POPDROP- a brand for
multi-flavored fruity pearls, often used in bubble teas and on frozen yoghurt.
The brand name and logo often speaks out for the product. Considering the
nature of the product the logo designed was colorful and fun with bold font and
bright colors.
Labelling acts as a marketing tool for the
product. It mentions all the information that is necessary for the consumer to
know. It is important to grab the attention of the customer. Design Dimensions
considers the traits of the product and therefore, used retro pop art style of
the 1970s for the labels to highlight the vibrant and youthful nature of the
product to make it stand out in market shelves. These characters were also
given an Indian-ness to show that the product is from India.
